• When is an interpreter necessary?

  An interpreter is needed when it is determined there is a party to a case or jury member who is unable to speak English or unable to hear.  

• Who is responsible for payment of interpreting services?

  The Court will pay for all interpreting services requested for official court proceedings.

• May a Court Interpreter translate legal documents for me?

  Court Interpreters translate only the documents presented to you during your court appearance.
